Welcome! I’m Melissa.
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) that specializes in trauma-focused treatment with over a decade of clinical experience. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, a Master of Social Work degree (MSW), and a post-graduate Certificate in Trauma Studies.
I am an EMDRIA Certified EMDR provider and Consultant in Training. I have extensive training and experience working with adults with complex trauma and dissociation. I am trained professionally through the AIR Network and the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation (ISST-D).
I offer consultation services for EMDR, EMDR Certification, and trauma and dissociation.
In my personal time, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends and pets. I love to be in nature as evidenced by the photos on my website. Some of my favorite ways to take care of myself are grounding in nature, hiking, kayaking, reading in my hammock, grilling or sitting by a campfire, taking pictures of nature (especially trees), floating in water, relaxing in a hot sauna, curling up with my pets, running, listening to a variety of music, watching sports, and connecting with others.

In consultation and supervision, I provide a supportive environment to help you build confidence in your abilities as an EMDR provider, trauma therapist, or social worker. Together, we will address areas for growth and identify the goals you desire to achieve. While working with me, we will access the unique wisdom and gifts you bring to the profession. You will be encouraged to be your authentic self and connect with others through your humanness. You will leave our time together feeling confident to implement the skills, protocols, and therapeutic approaches we dedicate our time to.
